Energy firm takes over Llandybie church hall securing its future and creating local jobs

AN energy saving firm has taken over a village hall creating local jobs and securing its future use.
Gaia Group UK has signed a deal to lease part of Llandybie Church Hall at the old School at the centre of the village.
The church had a vision for the hall to be used as a centre of activity in the local community, however over recent years there has been less community use of the building.
The church hall committee, who run the property along with County Councillor Dai Nicholas, have secured the deal with Gaia Hire, who have signed to take over the space and set up their head office at the centre of the village. ....

House in Cornwall breaches 'so many conditions' in Marazion


Planning permission was first granted for the property and annexe in North Street in Marazion in 2018.
When the plans were approved a number of conditions were put on the permission to ensure that the house was suitable for the location, which is near some Grade II listed buildings.
However when the property was built the developers removed a wall that was supposed to be retained, added decking which had not been approved, used the wrong type of windows and added elements which were not on the original plans.
After the breaches were reported to the council planning officers approached the homeowners and it was decided that a new planning application would have to be submitted to either approve the altered plans or rectify them. ....
