The City of Mississauga is celebrating the achievements of students who have completed the City’s Climate Change Youth Challenge,
. The City will be hosting an online Youth Summit celebration on Thursday, May 6, 2021, during National Youth Week. The summit will include a keynote address from Kehkashan Basu, a Canadian youth and environmental and human rights activist as well as a special video message from Canadian Olympian, Hayley Wickenheiser. It will also include a careers panel, featuring four sustainability leaders who will explore various career paths in climate change action and environmental sustainability. The summit will wrap up with the announcement of first, second and third-place award recipients. ....
