Today, were dealing with the effects of the winter storm that hit siouxland yesterday and overnight. As the morning snow hit, roads and sidewalks began to freeze over. Sioux city was a white out earlier yesterday, with less than half a mile visibility. And the icy sidewalks and streets were making it more difficult for travel. Earlier in the morning, crews were out clearing the streets and spreading sand, but it was slow going. The Winter Weather conditions did cause some problems for drivers.
