At 7:30 p.m., Friday, the final weekend of the Spencer Community Theatre Mainstage season will begin when the curtain rises of the fast-paced, manic comedy, “Lend Me a Tenor.” The Tony Award winning comedy by Ken Ludwig, takes place in a Cleveland hotel suite. Set in 1934, world renowned tenor, Tito Merelli (Steve Deutsch), has signed on to sing the title role in Pagliacci at the Cleveland Opera Company.
The TrueNorth Chorale and Chamber Orchestra will perform “A Concert of Peace” at 7:30 p.m., May 4, St. Joseph Catholic Church, 32929 Lake Road in Avon Lake, featuring Ralph Vaughan Williams’ Dona Nobis Pacem, according to a news release.
