At this year’s Buffalo Bill Rodeo, Rutkowski, 32, will step in during the bull riding with fellow bullfighter, Zach Call, to distract bulls after each ride and give the bull rider time to scramble to safety. Growing up with his mother earning the 1976 Miss Rodeo Texas title and his uncles who rode saddle broncs in Cleburne Texas, Rutkowski had strong ties to the rodeo from an early age and felt like he was destined to follow a similar path. ....

The RedHawks broke open the scoring in the bottom of the second on back-to-back two-run doubles by Dylan Kelly and Alex Boxwell. They would leave the inning with a 6-1 lead and never look back. Later in the contest, John Silviano and Leobaldo Pina hit back-to-back home runs. Four pitchers toed the rubber for Fargo-Moorhead with Gage Hinsz giving up three earned in a three-inning start. Fargo-Moorhead and California will play another exhibition game Wednesday at 11 a.m. ....
