John Ward Gill was charged Sunday with second-degree murder/not premeditated, jail records show. Deputies were called by Gill s wife about 3 p.m. to the home in the 5300 block of Razorback Court, saying she found her husband and his brother injured, the Sheriff s Office said. Thomas Melvin Gill, 70, was found lying on the floor next to a bed covered in blood, the incident report said. Deputies also found John Gill lying semi-conscious on the floor nearby, bleeding from his head and face. When Clay Fire Rescue got to the home, they declared the older brother dead, the Sheriff s Office said. ....
