John Vincent Castiglione, 80, of Gloversville, passed away on January 31, 2021, surrounded by family, after a courageous battle with kidney failure and other medical issues.
John is survived by his beloved wife of 18 years (together for 33 years), Carol L. Kilburn; his sister Johanne Papa (Mario); his six children, Robin (Mimi), James (Maria), Joseph, Tracy Cunha, Kevin Cary and Claudette Cary Mihaly; his nine grandchildren, Sarah, Andrew, Bailey, Nicholas, Natalie, David, Kyle, Nathan, Bryce, Devin and Emilio; his niece and nephew, Stacia and David Jung.
The son of the late Jim and Mary Castiglione, John graduated from Gloversville High School in 1958. He continued his studies at Delhi College, graduating with an AA in Business Administration and continued on to Ryder College, graduating with a BA in Business Administration. After college graduation, John worked on the STA of Governor Nelson Rockefeller, then GAB Adjustments. John served in the Army Nation ....
