Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh government has postponed intermediate examinations due from May 5.
The Chief Ministers Office made an announcement to this effect on Sunday evening. Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy who strongly defended holding examinations and refused to postpone had to finally accede to the widespread demand from political parties and parents groups. ....

This decision by the Uttarakhand board has been taken on the lines of CBSE, who cancelled class 10 exams and postponed class 12 exams earlier this week.

DEHRADUN: Uttarakhand government has decided to cancel the class 10 exams while class 12 exams have been postponed and a call will be taken on the same on June 1. 
Arvind Pandey, state education minister said, The decision is for the safety of the children from Covid 19 infection. The new strain is also affecting children. We all need to be cautious ans careful. The decision on class 12 exams will be taken on June 1. ....

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Wednesday (April 14) cancelled the Class 10 exams and postponed the Class 12 Board examinations in view of the surge in COVID-19 cases. Following the CBSE s decision, several other state boards including Rajasthan, Gujarat, Odisha, Telangana, Punjab, Haryana, among others have also cancelled or postponed the exams.  ....

JKBOSE 10th, 12th exams 2021: The Jammu and Kashmir School Education Board, JKBOSE has cancelled the remaining class 10 exams, and postponed the class 12 board exams in the wake of worsening Covid-19 situation in the state. The class 10 students will be promoted on the basis of internal assessment. 
In view of rising cases of Covid-19, class 10 ongoing exams for remaining subjects has been cancelled and their promotion to class 11 will be decided on the basis of their performance in subjects already undertaken in the present exam and internal assessment,  as mentioned by the Twitter handle of the office of the Lieutenant Governor (LG) of Jammu and Kashmir. “In case of ongoing class 12 exams, it has been postponed and it will be reviewed after one month,” it mentioned.  ....

MP govt announces summer vacations for students of Classes 1 to 8 from Apr 15
The decision has been taken keeping in mind the safety and health of students, state School Education Minister Indar Singh Parmar said on Wednesday

The Madhya Pradesh government has declared summer holidays for two months for students of Classes 1 to 8 in the state in view of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The decision has been taken keeping in mind the safety and health of students, state School Education Minister Indar Singh Parmar said on Wednesday.
However, all government teachers of Classes 1 to 8 shall not leave the headquarters (of their posting) during the summer holidays till the completion of board exams as they may be required for duty and other related works, he said. ....
