MISSOULA â Expect another dry and cool day Tuesday with highs in the upper 20s to low 30s. Once again, low lying clouds and fog may form in the valleys.
Areas in northwest Montana may see cloud cover linger throughout the day Tuesday. Areas in west-central and southwest Montana will see mostly to partly sunny skies.
Our next system will bring snow showers back to the forecast Wednesday afternoon through Thursday morning.
Mountains along the Montana/Idaho border in west-central and northwest Montana will see the most snow with 4 -to-8 possible over Lolo and Lookout Pass.

An atmospheric river of moisture will be directed at the northern Rockies over the next few days meaning weâve got some WEATHER moving in!!
Expect moderate mountain snow overnight and into Sunday morning with a few Winter Weather Advisories in place:
West Glacier Region above 4,000 (Essex to Marias Pass) -Total snow accumulations of 4 to 6 possible with winds gusting as high as 50mph.
Bitterroot/Sapphire Mountains (mainly Lost Trail & Lolo Pass) - Total snow accumulations of 4 to 7 possible with winds gusting as high as 40mph.
