Clarins to enter 2021 with new Global Travel Retail Division
Alexandre Callens, currently General Manager of Travel Retail APAC, will be appointed Global Travel Retail President
Skincare brand Clarins has announced it will start the new year with the establishment of a new Global Travel Retail division.
The move is part of the company’s organisation evolution as part of its “goal to become the global skincare authority and capture growth opportunities with strong commitments towards responsible beauty” stated CEO Jonathan Zrihen in a memo to partners.
As part of the reorganisation, Alexandre Callens, currently General Manager of Travel Retail APAC, will be appointed Global Travel Retail President, directly reporting to Zrihen.
The company believes travel retail will bring fantastic long-term growth opportunities.
Clarins is to create a new GTR division, effective January 2021.
The division will be led by current General Manager of Travel Retail APAC, Alexandre Callens, who will be appointed GTR President. Callens will report directly to Jonathan Zrihen, Chief Executive Officer, Clarins.
Following the sale of its Fragrance and Fashion division, Clarins says it has defined an ambitious and strategic plan â Clarins Unlimited â for the brand to reach its full potential.

TRBusiness, Zrihen said: âDespite the current pandemic situation, we strongly believe travel retail represents fantastic long-term growth opportunities for Clarins.
