What have you learned . Jacquelin and jim, we learned that pico just brought in some backup generators to help restore power. At last check 7,000 customers were still without power, and working throughout the night. Reporter flames and thick black smoke. The fire at picos west moreland substation caused a widespread power outage around 2 00 p. M. , and those living closest to the substation found themselves confused at first and then panicked.
