"It's a pretty rare achievement," said Deano Pape of the National Speech and Debate Association. "Usually, students are either debaters or they're speech kids."

Compared to many of the school’s competitors in the Twin Cities, John Marshall has a small budget and a relatively small group of students competing.
Take Back the Arts hosted at the Rochester Art Center on May 1st and students from John Marshall High School, Century High School, and Mayo High School will be performing.
