Jermaine is a subway driver and he loved the job but he told me about the darker days, every subway drivers nightmare, someone jumping in front of your train and being killed. This happened to jermaine in august of 2009, he was pulling into a train station in queens when he saw one on the platform walking and just as he was pulling up she jumped. He said the whole experience was horrifying. She was walking on the platform and then she jumped in front of my train. I put on the emergency brake, about four cars down i happen to find her underneath my train. He got out of the train and saw the woman. The lady was her, she was bleeding from her for head all the way down. She just wanted to be alone. She wanted to die in peace. He call for help and they are able to extract the woman. They came and took her from underneath the train. The expense was horrific. It has haunted him ever since. Even to this day. That night when i went home there was a thunderstorm that night.
