It grew out of an annual conference that we do called personal Democracy Forum, which is focused on how technology is changing politics and government that weve been doing since 2004, which is in fact how i know both of our guests. Weve traveled similar paths for a long time. Two years ago we opened civic hall to be a yearround gathering point for the same people and conversations, focused on civic tech, how tech can be used for public good.
