South Korean food major CJ CheilJedang has used new fermentation technology to consecutively launch products with reduced sodium content in response to growing consumer demand for “less burdensome” options.
CJ CheilJedang has begun selling its new dumpling products inside United States military bases in Korea, where dumplings with Korean meat are prohibited. Personnel there are forced to import from the U.S. in accordance with military regulations, said the country s major food company, Monday.
CJ Foods, a business unit of South Korea-based CheilJedang, said it has launched the first halal bibigo Mandu products. The company plans to introduce the taste of Korean Mandu, which holds the No. 1 market share in Korea, the U.S., and Vietnam, to Malaysian consumers.
CJ Cheiljedang s readymade Korean food products are now available for U.K. consumers to buy through the country s major local food delivery platforms, according to the food product maker, Monday.
