strictest abortion ban in the nation. joining us early start anchor laura jarrett attorney at law. from the moment of fertilization, laura. this is really a game changer. we talk a lot about the patchwork of laws across this country that we ve seen in the past couple of months. this is going to be different. when this gets signed it s going to be the strictest law in the country when it comes to abortion because, as you said, it s really redefining the definition of personhood to start from the moment of fertilization. so way before most people know that they re pregnant let alone when exactly they can pinpoint it. now, it does make some exceptions here for the health of the mother, for a medical emergency, for rape, for incest but you do have to report those to police. the other thing to watch here is how it gets enforced because this is really a civil enforcement mechanism where private individuals, anyone off the street can sue an abortion provider or anyone who supports a woman
