Ha Giang proposes dual-use airport construction in Bac Quang district

In its comments to the Ministry of Transport on the draft master plan on Vietnam’s airport development for 2021-2030 with a vision to 2050, Ha Giang People’s Committee proposed adding Ha Giang Airport.
The cost for building an airport accessible by A320 aircraft or equivalents with a capacity of 2-3 million passengers per year comes to about VND4-5 trillion ($173.9-217.4 million)
Ha Giang Airport was proposed for dual use (military and civil), to be located in Tan Quang commune, Bac Quang district following level II military airport and level 4C civil airport standards. ....
