Retired local government workers and their primary school counterparts in Enugu State are being owed about twenty months’ arrears of pensions. Their gratuities were last paid in 2005. Court Orders Nigerian Central Bank To Release Information On Forex Subsidies Given To Oil Marketers After CML Report

A Federal High Court in Abuja has ordered the Central Bank of Nigeria to release its data on Forex subsidies and make it available to a civic group, the Human and Environmental Development Agenda (HEDA Resource). This was contained in a court ruling in a lawsuit between the Incorporated Trustees of Human and Environmental Development Agenda (HEDA Resource Centre) and the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). The judgement is based on suit number FHC/ABJ/CS/1622/2020, which was filed after the CBN refused the HEDA Resource Centre's Freedom of Information (FoI) request. ....

The Human and Environmental Development Agenda (HEDA Resource Centre), a civil society organisation, has asked the Central Bank of Nigeria to comply with a recent court judgment in its favour. Nigerian Court Orders Central Bank To Provide Details, Information On Individuals, Other Beneficiaries Issued Dollars At N305 Exchange Rate

The Federal High Court in Abuja has ordered the Central Bank of Nigeria to release information concerning the volume of dollars given out at N305 as well as the sectors and schemes that had been benefiting from the N55 difference to Incorporated Trustees of HEDA Resource Center.
