From last nights looting. We begin with the protests underway right now in downtown San Francisco. Good evening. Im brian hackney. Im juliette. Joe joins us in the market area. Joe. Weve been monitoring a large, loud, boisterous, yet peaceful demonstration as it makes its way through the streets of San Francisco. Lets take a look from up above chopper 5. This is a crowd of about thousands. They started at city hall, roughly 3 00 with a few hundred. Now it has grown exponentially. These folks are protesting the death of george floyd, one of many demonstrations around the country. Demonstrating against the death of a man at the hands of a Police Officer. Weve watched as just in the last hour, this crowd branched off in two different directions. One went toward the bay bridge. The other toward the hall of justice. One young demonstrator said he recognizes even gathering in this crowd presents a risk to him. Were all risking something by being here. You see, like, how armed the police here
Online marketplaces and illegal street vendors are where organized retail theft rings unload their ill-gotten goods, and two new laws before the SF Board of Supervisors would hope to squeeze those markets dry.

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) â To Steve Kerr, Dallas looked like a team in the playoffs while Golden State remained stuck in an exhibition game.
Luka Doncic scored 39 points and the short-handed Mavericks jumped on Golden State from the start to thump the Warriors 133-103 on Tuesday night.
âBiggest game of the year and it was over before it started,â said Kerr, whose team trailed by as many as 43.
Stephen Curry scored 27 points with five more 3-pointers, extending his NBA record for 3-pointers in a month to 90 in April. He had passed James Hardenâs 82 in November 2019 on Sunday.
âChasing Steph Curry around has got to be the hardest job in all of basketball, pro, college, international, you name it,â Dallas coach Rick Carlisle said. âThe guy has been on just a tear over the last month. Trey Burke rose to the challenge, he just chased him all over the place and we had plenty of help.
