The City of Melbourne has completed a repair and maintenance blitz throughout the latest lockdown.
 In the past week, essential workers have focused on repairing roads, filling potholes, fixing footpaths, cleaning streets and maintaining the city’s parks and gardens.
 Lord Mayor Sally Capp said getting the basics right and keeping people in jobs was vital during this tough period.
 “Our Citywide crews and dedicated staff have been working seven days a week to ensure Melbourne is in top shape once restrictions are lifted,” the Lord Mayor said.
 “In the past week alone our crews have undertaken more than 250 repair and maintenance jobs, which highlights our focus on getting the basics right,” the Lord Mayor said.  ....
