Overnight lane and ramp closures on the Reagan Memorial Tollway (I-88) are scheduled to begin this week and will continue through June as the Tollway begins
Nightly lane closures are scheduled to begin Sunday, January 15, on the Tri-State Tollway (I-294), North Avenue and Lake Street under I-294, along with overnight closures on the ramp connecting westbound I-290 to eastbound Lake Street/ North Avenue, to accommodate bridge beam removal for the Central Tri-State Tollway (I-294) Project.
The measure was approved on a 225-201 roll-call vote. Nine Republicans including Illinois members Adam Kinzinger and Rodney Davis, both lame ducks joined Democrats in passing the measure.
