Humble City Council meets to accept, approve runoff election results Written by Beverly Horner Published: 22 December 2020 At 11 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 19, the Humble City Council met to accept the runoff election counts as they were read according to the Dec. 12 Official Tabulation posted at www.cityofhumble.com. City Secretary Jenny Page read the counts to the board and all attendees with both runoff candidates present.“According to the official voting results posted to the City of Humble website, the final results showed a one-point difference between the remaining candidates. Arliss Ann Bentley received 145 absentee votes, 108 early votes and 47 Election Day votes. The total vote count for Arliss is 300 total votes,” said Page. “Paula Settle received 131 absentee votes, 106 early voting votes, and 64 Election Day results, giving her a total of 301 votes.” Humble City Mayor Merle Aaron added, “During the time which I have been here, ....
