The sister of murdered Hanwell schoolgirl Alice Gross is showing artwork about the 34 days when she was missing. Alice Gross was only 14 when she went missing from her Hanwell home on the 28th August 2014. A public search for her followed, and her body was found in the River Brent on the 30th September 2014. The body of convicted Latvian murderer and chief suspect, Arnis Zalkalns, was later found nearby. Now her sister Nina Gross, 25, has an exhibition at the Espacio Gallery in Shoreditch, which includes drawings from each day that Alice was missing, based on Facebook memories and news reports from the time.
