Are they looking at expanding the Drone Program . They have a fleet of 35 different types of drones, including a couple of the more expensive ones. I know you are a pilot and some pilots worry about these drones flying all over the place. There are faa certified pilots who know where they are going. They can look for lost children. In one case in alameda county, they looked for a downed plane that no one could find. These devices can slip in unnoticed into nooks and crannies and they are pretty happy handy. They can go where helicopters are not the best solution. In a hazmat solution, the helicopter whips up harmful chemicals. The drone is smaller and can get in.
