En Pointe for Ava is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children diagnosed with brain cancer. Our mission is to increase access to treatment for families with children diagnosed with life-threatening brain cancer. The financial devastation is significant and forces families to make unthinkable decisions. We know this struggle because Ava, our daughter, battled brain cancer for 21 months before laying down her sword when she passed away June 15, 2022. She was only 14 years old. En Pointe Against Brain Cancer is a performance at the Grand Ritz Theater in Escondido filled with dance and hope followed by a dessert reception and Ava's signature drink.
