Minnesota saw its second consecutive day of relatively low new COVID-19 cases Tuesday, according to data released by the Minnesota Department of Health.
The state reported 727 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday even lower than the 794 cases reported Monday, which was the lowest case count in more than three months.
Prior to that, the state had not had a new daily case total below 800 since Sept. 30.
The increase brings the state s case count to 456,490. Of the new cases, Stearns County had 23, Sherburne County had 12 and Benton County had six.
Downward case trend evident in city, school absences
The decline in cases is reflected in the number of absent employees and students in St. Cloud.
