Mary Ellen Nash, 89, of Duluth passed away peacefully with her family by her side Friday, February 9, 2024 at Edgewood Vista Memory Care. She was born December 17, 1934 to Orlow and Gladys Shoquist of Ortonville, MN. Mary grew up in Clinton, MN and immediately upon graduation from high school moved to Minneapolis, MN. This is where she met the love of her life Harry Nash and on July 30, 1955 they were married.

That s because TCF Bank which is short for Twin Cities Federal Bank itself is going away. According to this TwinCities.com story, TCF Bank merged with Huntington Bancshares, which is based in Columbus, Ohio late last year. The merger formed the 11th-largest bank in the U.S., the story noted, but it also did away with the familiar TCF Bank brand itself here in the Land of 10,000 Lakes.
