The family of Kenneka Jenkins, the 19-year-old woman who died in an Illinois hotel’s walk-in freezer has settled a lawsuit against the hotel for $10 million dollars. Jenkins was found dead in the freezer of the Crowne Plaza Chicago O’Hare Hotel in 2017.
An unidentified former member of the Northwestern University football team is suing the school and the recently fired head coach, according to a civil claim filed Tuesday in the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois.
