JAMESTOWN, ND. (NewsDakota.com) – The University of Jamestown swept Doane University on Sunday in a pair of thrilling games.
MEN’S: Jamestown (16-5, 12-4) 109, Doane (3-14, 6-16) 105
WOMEN’S: Jamestown (14-7, 11-7) 82, Doane (4-17, 2-16) 65
In men’s action, the Jimmies battled with Doane into overtime, before eventually toppling the Tigers.
Before reaching overtime, Jamestown had to come up with a defensive stop on a last-second shot by Doane. In OT, the Jimmies used multiple big shots from Jack Talley and Mason Walters, and three free throws courtesy of Allante’ Pickens pick up the victory. ....
