Gorey s answer to The Tommy Tiernan Show is the weekly online podcast Paper Tuesdays, presented by Marc Halpin and Michael Dwyer with the help of producer Robbie Dunne.
With more than 40 episodes under their belts and some hundred listeners, the lockdown project for these young men has really grown legs since it was born in May of last year.
The idea behind Paper Tuesdays originates from their school days at Gorey Community School, when Michael would distract himself with local newspapers and post them on his Snapchat.
He admits he has matured since then, and this current affairs podcast has branched out to topics from sport to photography to tarot card reading, and everything in between.
Camolin s Cian FitzGerald Byrne (DJ Ciano) is known for spinning the decks in his back garden but he s all set to make his first appearance on national television on next Monday, January 25.
Cian (19) will be representing Wexford on RTÉ 2 s dating show Pulling with my Parents which will see his parents, Maria and Padraig, do the choosing for Cian.
Cian said that he applied to the show as he was sick of being placed in the friend zone by girls his age. I had been chatting to a few girls but I haven t been in many relationships and that s what I was looking for when I applied. Once the girl has a great taste in music and they re into fitness, like sport and are outgoing, it s great. I m a DJ myself and I just love my music.
