The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has warned the ex-militant leader in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria, Asari Dokubo, to stay away from the South-East region of the country. IPOB also accused President Bola Tinubu-led government of funding and fuelling insecurity in the Southeast region through Dokubo. It added that it is unfortunate that political leaders are mute over the "formation of pro-government Islamic militia headed by Alhaji Asari Dokubo, who were among the groups causing mayhem that is sweeping across Igbo land."
