The pond is full again at Upingaksraq Spring Alaska Schreiner’s high desert farm. It’s a welcome sight for Schreiner, who owns Sakari Farms north of Bend, Oregon. Last summer, as drought punished Central Oregon, Schreiner’s irrigation district stopped delivering water.
