The Celebration Chorale announces its upcoming annual Patriotic cantata, “I Salute You” which will be presented at 7:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday, June 24th and 25th, and Sunday, June 26th at 3:00 p.m. The production will be held at First United Methodist Church, 317 N 4th Street in DeKalb. <br/><br/>“I Salute You” is a musical created by Deborah Craig-Claar and David T. Clydesdale. Inspiring narration is woven with a dynamic mix of several favorite patriotic songs, leading listeners to remember America's great history and honor those who have fought for freedom.<br/>Although the Celebration Chorale practices and performs at FUMC in DeKalb, the musicians come from all over the area and include professionals and amateurs, longtime Chorale members, and those who are new to the group. The Chorale has singers representing over nine different church denominations and 10 local communities. The Celebration Chorale is under the direction of Christine Monteiro. & ....
