What Kennebunkers would like to see in the New Year

Just days before the new year of 2021, I reached out to readers in the Kennebunks, via a public social media post. I asked “What would you like to see happen in Kennebunk/Kennebunkport in 2021? What is missing? Is there something new that would be of benefit, or something you would like to bring back from years past?” This month’s column will highlight many of those responses. Food for thought, at the very least. It is important to note that the most popular request was probably the easiest one to accomplish and very likely the least costly as well - the return of an iconic sign.
