SARASOTA, Fla. Kevin James Roberts, 61, of Sarasota. formerly of Calumet, passed away unexpectedly from a heart attack at his home on Friday, April 16, 2021.
Kevin was born on February 21, 1960, to James and Karen (Aho) Roberts in Calumet. He attended the Calumet schools and graduated in 1978 from Calumet High School. Kevin worked as a cook at various local restaurants and then headed west with friends, working at an oil refinery in Wyoming.
Returning from Wyoming, he was a chef at several Midwest restaurants before moving to Florida where he met the love of his life, Melissa (Missy) Ireland. They were married on April 4, 2004 – 4/4/04. In 2005, they welcomed Marissa (Sissa) into the world. Missy and Sissa were the light of his life. ....
