Give and take : Little Free Pantries help fight food insecurity
While Dickinson has resources available to help supplement food and household goods for individuals or families in need, Little Free Pantries help fill the gap on a smaller and more convenient scale. Pantries are located throughout communities across the country, and similar to Little Free Libraries, the pantries are not managed by any particular group or organization. The intention is that community members will help keep each one stocked. 5:58 pm, Jul. 8, 2021 ×

On Tuesday, June 6, the Stark Development Corp. held its board of directors meeting where they officially welcomed two new members to complete their numbers and to better serve the Dickinson business community.
The board meeting was held through Zoom with a bit of mild distortion in audio and video. The board approved May’s financial report and they also discussed current concerns, such as the completion of the 2020 Census, with the county completion being stagnant at 62%; and they unanimously chose Casey King and Stephen Easton as members to represent the Dickinson Area Chamber of Commerce and Dickinson State University, respectively.
