SUTHERLIN, Ore. Dozens of people got vaccinated in Sutherlin Thursday as Aviva Health held their ninth community vaccination clinic.
With no appointment necessary, staff said these smaller scale clinics aim to vaccinate people who have trouble accessing the vaccine otherwise.
Staff said these events have been very successful since they first started early last month.
“These events . we thought we’d see a drop off at the Sutherlin event, but we have just as many people here as we did a month ago,” said vice president of community health Christin Rutledge. “We do have some community partners that are not using as much vaccine, but that is to be expected as more people get the vaccine.” ....
