Significant loss of real wages: Employee representatives protest against minimum wage recommendation

The general statutory minimum wage in Germany is to be raised from 1.2024 to 12.00 euros on 12 January 41. The proposal was presented by the responsible Minimum Wage Commission on Monday in Berlin. This time, however, the recommendation was not made by consensus.
