Security capo sacked from Tema port
The recent National Security clampdown on the Port of Tema might have claimed a casualty at the very top echelon of the security body.
The National Security Liaison Officer, Tema Port, Sub Lt Christian Tettey (rtd) has been removed.
The one who replaces the former Naval Officer, also known as Black Slate, was scheduled to formally take over yesterday, Wednesday, April 14, 2021.
The removal of Sub Lt. Tettey, a former District Chief Executive (DCE) for Yilo Krobo and a member of the Eastern Regional Executive of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) comes barely a fortnight after operatives of the security establishment descended on the Tema Port and halted the discharge of a consignment of imported frozen fish from the Democratic Republic of Congo flagged vessel, MV EL NINO. ....
