THE STANDARD By Peterson Githaiga | January 12th 2021 at 00:00:00 GMT +0300 Christian Mwambay, suspected of killing lawyer Elizabeth Koki Musyoki, when he arrived at Mavoko courts yesterday. [Peterson Githaiga, Standard] The main suspect in the killing of advocate Elizabeth Koki Musyoki was yesterday arraigned at the Mavoko law court in Machakos County. Christian Mwambay Kadima appeared before Principal Magistrate Bernard Kasavuli, where the prosecution sought 14 days to complete investigations into the killing. Mr Kasavuli granted the request by the prosecution and ordered that the suspect be remanded at Mlolongo police station. The matter will be mentioned on January 25, where the suspect will take a plea awaiting further orders. ....

Christian Mwambay Kadima (pictured), who has been on the run since the wee hours of the morning, following the gruesome murder of a prominent city lawyer was smoked out of his hideout, in a city lodging hours after the gruesome murder. “Detectives who have been trailing the suspect smoked him out of his hideout at a lodging in the city,” said DCI on Saturday. The suspect is reported to have driven himself to Riruta before heading to a city lodging where he hid. ....
