But School Leaders say the point of the lessons about heroes is to teach students anyone can be a hero, and how important they truly are. Students of all ages sang songs and shared their thoughts on what makes a hero. We talked with one very wellspoken fifth grader about his thoughts on why First Responders should be recognized each day. A cemetery can be a scary night for some. For the victim what happened not far from here was a real life nightmare. Police says she ran to Greenwood Cemetery after a man tried to force her to have sex inside his truck. According to neighbors who heard the womans cries for help, she told them she had never the suspect who put a knife to her throat while trying to tape her. Somehow she managed to escape his grip and run to the cemetery. Christian greer heard the woman outside of his home screaming for someone to call police.
