Drug-dealing former Mdantsane cop Reneal Francis has failed in his Supreme Court of Appeal bid to appeal against his tough 15-year sentence. The SCA this week dismissed his appeal against the Makhanda high court decision refusing him leave to appeal. Francis, 37, was found guilty on two counts of drug dealing after he sold 96 Mandrax tablets in November 2012 to undercover Hawks officers.
