A new vaccination centre launched at the Stoop on Thursday (February 4). The newly re-branded Chris Robshaw Bar (formerly the King’s Bar) is hosting vaccinations seven days a week for eligible residents alongside health and care staff. Only people who have been invited can receive a Covid-19 jab – the centre is being operated by appointment only. It comes as the Government announced all adults aged 50 and over should receive a coronavirus vaccine by May. Ministers had previously refused to give a firm date, saying only that the first nine priority groups would be vaccinated by the spring.
