Christmas eve officer camilleri and his partner, officer jonathan velasquez, were on a maximum enforcement patrol on the side of the 880 freeway, looking for driving under the influence when the chp says their vehicle was hit by one. Thinking person, a 22yearold from hayward, chose to drive while under the influence of alcohol, and also drugs. And this needs to stop.
