William Awihilima Kahaialiâi, known simply as Willie K or Uncle Willie, died May 18, 2020 after enduring a lengthy battle with lung cancer. ....

Ekolu is nominated for Group of the Year and their latest recording, “2020,” is up for Album of the Year and Reggae Album of the Year. “I’m super excited,” said Keala, the lead singer, who was getting ready to head off island for a concert. ....
