It's that time of the year again the first HDB BTO launch of 2023! Some people may be surprised at the size of this launch, as with 4,428 flats, it is nearly half the 9,655 Build-To-Order flats launched at the last one in November 2022. This time, there are five projects spread out across Kallang Whampoa, Queenstown, Jurong West.
As of 2022, the average price of a 5-room resale flat, island-wide, has reached around $612,520. This is the point where home buyers yell “No way”, because everything they’ve seen appears to be well past that price range. The truth is, there are some HDB towns that go well beyond this – just as there are some that have stayed.

Singapore Reports 40 New Covid-19 Cases on 20 Jan
The Ministry of Health (MOH) has confirmed 40 new Covid-19 infections in Singapore on Wednesday (20 Jan). Our national tally currently stands at 59,197.
Of today’s cases, 4 are in the community.
The remaining 36 are imported cases, all of whom were placed on Stay-Home Notice (SHN) upon arriving in Singapore.
