Feb 15 (Interfax) - Chisinau is running out of hospital beds designated specifically for patients with the coronavirus infection, Chisinau Mayor Ion Ceban said. We are in a critical situation concerning beds at municipal hospitals, Ceban said at a daily meeting at the city administration on Monday. Among those hospitalized at municipal hospitals, there are currently 1,067 patients with coronavirus, 48 of whom are in critical condition. The maximum number of hospital beds in the city is 1,163, he said. Chisinau still has a Code Red in place as concerns epidemiological danger, and Chisinau accounts for nearly half of all active infections in the country, Ceban said. ....
