Our Correspondent Kohima, May 23 (EMN): A newborn baby girl succumbed to injuries on Sunday after she was thrown from a hospital window in Kohima, allegedly by her mother. The infant baby, who was found in nullah (drainage) on Sunday morning, was hospitalised and kept in the intensive care unit (ICU) but succumbed to her injuries within a few hours. The Additional Superintendent of Police (Addl. SP), Kohima, and PRO, Vitoshe Sumi, told Eastern Mirror that a 24-year-old woman belonging to Nepali community, said to be working in Bengaluru, visited her parents residing in Kohima. After the delivery of the baby from a private hospital toilet, she threw her from a height of approximately 30 feet through the window. It was informed that the woman, who was hiding her pregnancy, went to the hospital complaining of stomach ache when the incident happened and the woman reportedly admitted to committing the act. The police officer informed that the Kohima police have arrested the mother of the ch
