The unidentified man has been charged with buggery and grievous sexual assault. Police investigators who booked the man for the offences on Wednesday, did not release his identity, due to the sensitive nature of the case. The accused is to face the St Ann Parish Court on Friday. It is alleged that sometime last week, the farmer buggered the boy after asking the minor to accompany him to a pig pen. It was further reported that last weekend, the mother of the child was about to bathe the boy, when he complained of feeling pain in the anus. The mother then saw that the area had been injured. ....

Deputy Public Prosecutor Bhajanvir Singh said that the woman was sexually abused when she was between nine and 12 years old. She was then living with her parents and three brothers. ....

The mother then saw that the area had been injured. The matter was reported to the police, and the suspect was arrested on Sunday. The incident comes on the heels of another case of buggery involving a 13-year-old girl in the parish last week. It was reported that on Monday, April 26, the teen was sexually assaulted by five young men in an unfinished house in an undisclosed St Ann community. ....
