Around two months after being closed for health violations, an inner city daycare in Calgary has now had its licence capacity reduced after several recent inspections revealed two dozen non-compliance concerns.
Some daycare operators in the province are considering opting out of the Alberta Affordability Grant for child-care programs, which is concerning to parents who could see their payments skyrocket in the new year as a result.
Child-care operators have an upcoming deadline to sign the 2024/25 Affordability Grant for child-care agreement, which according to Bailee Procee, is handcuffing providers.
